Hey all,
Welcome to my latest project! This is a model of a TTX train car on a section of track. It is NOT inspired or intended to bring back the #10170 LEGO TTX Intermodal Double-Stack car. My idea was conceived before I knew it existed. I decided to build it in 1:48 scale as it meant the model would not have a huge part count but still allowed for plenty of detail. The model does not possess any functionality as it is intended for display purposes only.
The idea includes:
- 1 TTX well car
- 1 base
- 2 shipping containers
Although I couldn't line everything up perfectly on MecaBricks I tested all the techniques with physical bricks and everything is possible. The model has 1439 parts. It is 51 cm wide, 14 cm deep, 16.5 cm tall, and fits very nicely on most shelves.
