This project is for Lego fans + Tom and Jerry fans :)
I have been rewatching some older Tom and Jerry episodes, and got amazed how fun they still are.
The cartoon series had almost no dialogue, yet it brought joy and entertainment to children and adults around the world.
To celebrate these pop culture icons that made childhood fun for generations of people, I built this LEGO Ideas project, hoping it would become real LEGO set for Tom and Jerry fans around the world!
The project includes:
- 2 brick-build characters. Tom and Jerry, with Jerry about 1/3 the height of Tom (like in the cartoon)
- The Characters have almost no printed elements, aside from Tom’s eyes.
- All the shapes and curvature + details are made with LEGO bricks :)
- Both characters have posable head and arms.
- Tom also have “posable” eyebrows to change expression, between “Happy”, Excited frown while chasing Jerry, and Surprised when caught by the mouse-trap.
Speaking of, The project also includes:
- A Lego mouse-trap
- Cheese piece
- The classic “Tom and Jerry” title card/ logo ( with the tilted “T” and “E”).
I also want to include minifigures of Tom and Jerry standing with the Logo. Still looking for the right minifigure/ animal elements.
Will add these in updates if I find right parts and made designs I’m happy with.
