This set is based on Spaceman Spiff, the most prominent of Calvin's alter-egos from the popular comic strips Calvin & Hobbes. I am a huge lover of Calvin & Hobbes, and the Spaceman Spiff stories are without a doubt my favourite aspect of them. This would be an awesome Lego set, because for kids it would be seen as a cool space playset based on a comic book. However, most AFOLs are also the age that Calvin & Hobbes was a big part of their life growing up, so it'd be a great display for adults as well. The build includes Spiff's small, swooshable craft, as well as a display piece for when he invariably crashes on distant worlds.
