The Peugeot 205 GTI bounced onto the scene in 1984 powered by a 105bhp 1.6 litre engine, it could do 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds and had a top speed of 116mph. In 1986 Peugeot would launch the GTI 1.9 boasting 130bhp and a top speed of 127mph, the new GTI 1.9 shaved the older 1.6's 0-62 down from 8.7 to 7.8 seconds. The 205 would enter into the WRC with the T16 and the T16 Evo 2.

With a car that has an important place in motoring history it seemed like a go to
when creating a new set. This model is to speed champions scale and features the Peugeot 205 GTI’s unique trim and interior. The 205 is not only one of the most iconic hot hatches of all time, but it’s also considered to be the best.
