The Monument is a stately, monumental Project. The structure (37 x 20 x 20 x 20 cm) is built on grey plates (20 x 20 cm). This allows you to easily lift up the roof (the monument). In my house is this building a Lampshade. So I can change the lamp, for example, without having to demolish the structure. Because I have created the luminaire itself (other materials than Lego) , I can't show this here.
It has become a sleek and symmetrical design. I chose the following colours: white, yellow, light brown, light grey and dark grey. The colours have been used in a balanced way. The work consists of many different kinds of blocks, but it doesn’t reach the maximum of 3000.
My table lamp had broken down, so I went looking for a new one. However, I found out that the choice was very limited. This made me think further and I came up with the idea of making my own Lampshade. I started working with old blocks. When I made a choice of colour and shape, I ordered the blocks needed for my project. After that, I started to rebuilt "The Monument" again.
People who love Lego, like to create. With this building you can get your own monument at home. With this range of stones you can easily build new designs. You could even expand this even with your own Lego collection and creativity.
Lego is good at inspiring and encouraging people to create. Bring Lego into your house!
