Fowl Manor Siege

"If I win, I'm a prodigy. If I lose then I'm mad. That's the way history is written."

Continuing my Artemis Fowl Lego series, here's the premise of this set:

Artemis Fowl, a 12 year old criminal mastermind, has exploited the fairy folk by kidnapping an elf, Holly Short, and holding her for ransom. The Lower Elements Police (the fairy police) has set up a timestop around the Fowl residence, meaning that time stops inside the property, while it continues outside it, and before the timestop runs out, the LEP must get Holly back. The LEP commander, Julius Root, has tried to barter with Artemis, but Artemis is not releasing Holly until the LEP gives him one ton of gold, which will be used to fund search expeditions for his lost father. Briar Cudgeon, an LEP officer, has taken over Julius' place as commander and is sending a troll into the manor to kill the humans. Meanwhle, Mulch Diggums, a tunneling Dwarf, is spying on the Fowls. Artemis' bodyguard, Butler, is trying to defend the house from the troll, and his little sister, Juliet, is guarding the prisoner. Asleep upstairs is Angeline Fowl, who has been bedridden since her husband disappeared.

This set is of Fowl Manor, with Artemis' study, the wine cellar, a lookout tower with a trapdoor, Angeline's room, the prison cell, and a very nice spiral staircase. It has 1617 bricks, and comes with 9 minifigures, including Butler with the suit of armour. Both Butler figures are built up one plate higher than normal. Holly has an acorn for her escape plan. Chix Verbil, a Sprite, is helping Cudgeon move the troll. It also comes with the troll and its hover cage.
