Replica Stephenson's Rocket

Robert Stephenson designed the world famous 'Rocket' in 1829 for the Rainhill Trials of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway. 'Rocket' won the contest and became the basis for modern steam locomotives.

My model of the Replica of Rocket . . . shows 'Push' and 'Pull' movement of the pistons being translated into 'Rotational' movement of the wheels - you can see the wheels turning and powering Rocket forward along the track.

This set has 248 pieces and I think would make an iconic and sought after set.
