100 supporters - just 9,900 more!!!
Thank you all who helped this project by supporting and sharing it. It has finally reached 100 supporters, it's first and hopefully not last milestone. Thomas Edison, Leonardo Da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, Marie Curie, Isaac Newton, and Albert Einstein all thank you.
Please comment if you think another scientist is needed, although since the most recent update to Ideas I haven't been able to add pics in my updates, but I'm sure I could get around it.
Marie Curie
As someone pointed out to me, I didn't have any woman scientists. So here's one. Meet Marie Curie!
Marie Curie is remembered for her discovery of Radium and Polonium, and her huge contribution to the fight against cancer. Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen discovered the X-rays, but Marie Curie took it one step farther, and brought X-rays to the battle field. My X-ray that I have included in this model is a glow-in-the-dark piece, for an extra effect.
My scene depicts Marie's lab, with her work table, shelf, an X-ray, and her Nobel Prizes. Since I'm bad at photo-shop, I can't show the Nobel Prize sticker in the first two pictures.
The sticker is on a 2x3 tile that hangs on the wall.
The Marie minifigure is wearing a black dress, and has her hair in a bun. She'salso holding a vial.
So someone, I hope you're happy with this update, and I hope other people like it too.
