Mickey Mouse: Thru the Mirror

This project is based off of the classic 1936 Mickey Mouse cartoon, Thru the Mirror.

In the cartoon, Mickey Mouse falls asleep while reading Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass.

Mickey dreams that he climbs through the mirror above his fireplace and ends up in a alternate reality where everything is alive. During his dream, he ends up shrinking and playing with the telephone, as well as dancing with the Queen of Hearts, which aggravates the King. Mickey duels the King using a needle.

The mirror could either be a printed 'reflection' of the room, or a reflective piece.

The piece count is only around 200 pieces and would make a great $20 or $25 set!

The entire short is available to view on Youtube. Check it out below!
