Thank you for examining my submission!

👀SPY👀RI👀IUS👀

What is this creation?
Spyrius was an older theme from LEGO that has since been retired. This theme existed from 1994 to 1996 and was the counter or middle man faction to the many other space factions within this decade. They were responsible for all of the technology theft in the galaxy and harvesting of data, as well as spying on other factions for their resources. With some older retired long ago LEGO sets re-releasing with modern building techniques, I wanted to submit this creation as an homage and ode to that same wave of sets. Old classics with a new paint job! This is heavily inspired by the classic Spryius Lunar Launch Site.

The Idea and Story
Tucked away on a remote cluster of rocks deep in space is the Spyrius home base, their "Lunar Outpost". Hidden within the rock formations lies a mysterious faction with a vast array of surveillance technology and stolen equipment. Carved inside the rock lies a science laboratory complete with android assistants. A highly sophisticated computer that can track multiple galaxy’s. It seems the Spyrius have captured a familiar foe, the "Blacktron", he is undergoing many experiments. Speaking of androids, the red one seems to be in charge however the white version is a captured and reprogrammed variant. Poking around the structure are various types of vehicles to survey the land such as; a 6 wheeled moon buggy for long range recon, or choose the high speed aerial craft which can boost the signal. Up top on the lunar outpost you will find a hidden rocket detection system which is capable of above-orbit ship tracking.

Why This Build?
As a child like many of you, LEGO has been at my forefront. I grew up in the 1990s and I have fond memories of having the Spyrius among countless other themes. With the rise of classic sets being rebirthed and reborn into modern day official recreations such as Galaxy Explorer, Eldorado Fortress and many others, this was another part that I wanted to contribute. 1990s space era within LEGO has brought me many joy and hours of play. I guess I want to carry that same feeling over to an older generation but yet inspiring to younger.

Future Set Material?
For myself I can visualize this as a real life LEGO set. The question begs whether it is for everyone. Now I know the popular original classic space is very popular amongst the LEGO community and with the latest Space CMF series I can see this fitting right into the zeitgeist. I have some nostalgic biased towards this creation but let me know how you feel about it!

Gratitude and Thanks
A big thank you to all of you who continue to support my journey within this hobby. Many thanks to the LUGOLA community and the inspiration they exude. Thankful to have this platform to share with the world.
