A long time ago I made a small wooden model of my dog using only roughly LEGO-sized offcuts and extras from model kits. It sat on my desk and stared happily at me for years, until a visit to the LEGO museum in Billund inspired me to try to recreate the model using LEGO bricks. Through careful study of the joints and angles I needed, I was able to recreate the wooden model using some nontraditional brick joinery. It makes for a very fragile model, but one that captures the playful loll of Zephyr's tongue and the droop of his big, triangular ears.
