This is the Griffith Observatory, an Art Deco monument to the beauty and mystery of the Cosmos. For this project, I was inspired by the Architecture Series and the ability of the designers of those sets to replicate famous landmarks on a miniature scale while maintaining important details of those structures. So, I thought I might try it out and see if I could replicate an iconic building myself. I have been playing with Legos for as long as I can remember, but for the last few years, I have exclusively been building using the LDD software which has given me access to just about every element Lego has manufactured and has helped me experiment with different elements and building techniques. This is the first model I've uploaded and I've tried to capture the beauty of this building as best as I could so I hope that everyone who sees my project likes it and if so, supports it. Thank you and enjoy!
