Inspired by the 2001 film Monsters Inc. I created an area of the scare floor, one of the main areas of the film's focus. Here, doors to children's rooms are held to enable Monsters to travel undetected to scare them. They capture their screams which they used to power the city of Monstropolis. It comes complete with a printed replica of Boo's door - a young girl who inadvertently finds herself trapped in the Monsters world. Behind the door are the larger than life main characters James P "Sully" Sullivan & Mike Wazowski.
The film has been a firm favourite in our home enjoyed by our whole family. I built it initially as a display piece to celebrate 20 years of the film. As an update I'm working on brick built figures in scale to the door which will hopefully turn this into a playset build.
