Why did I build this epic model?🤔
I've always wanted to build a medieval project, and, I actually built one year's back but unfortunately had to dismantle it 🥺. Almost 3 years and a lot of bricks later, I came back to that idea and made a whole new remake! I think this would make an awesome 😎 set since Lego NEEDS more medieval builds!!
It would mean the world to me if you could please support this project! This took a lot of time (and bricks!😂) to build, so all of your support, positivity, and feedback all make it worthwhile! 😊❤️✨️🪄
The story 🪄🏰✨️
Many centuries ago, a wizard built these very walls of the castle in a peaceful valley to house and protect the queen, knights, and himself. The wizard was one of very few people who got taught the powerful acts of magic ✨ to bring peace and joy in this world. However, as the years passed , people wanted to learn that power to bring evil and destruction 😈😈! Many invaders have tried (and failed!) to obtain the wizards secrets over the course of centuries but ,unfortunately, the attacks were to powerful, and they couldn't defend the castle any longer so they had to abandon it, resulting in a ruin…
The rooms 🛏️
Pic 5
Dining Room🥖🍗 - This is where the knights and queen feast at a fancy table! 🍽🍗!The food is served with silver and gold utensils topped off with some fancy drinks all to signify their prosperity and wealth! It has a stone roof and lattice windows at the exterior!

Pics 6-8 *My personal fav🤩
The Weaponry🛡️ - This is where all the shields , armour, and weapons are kept in the event of an attack. There is a shield wall (where I have put my collection of medieval shields😎) and a variety of weapons to choose from. It is located by the balcony so the knights and archers can defend their castle as fast as possible. This is the biggest room.🛡🗡🏹🤺
~~ ~~ ~~ ~~
Pic 9 *Fun Fact: half of the room hasn’t been built since I didn’t have the pieces so I had to make it “ruined”. I think this actually fits better with the abandoned theme.😂
The Queens Bedroom👸👑- This is situated at the peak of the castle and has all of the Queens' essentials! A comfy bed,a few accessories🗝️🧸✉️, and a bird's eye view outside! The invaders have targeted it and engulfed it in flames, sending debris all around the castle! You can see that she was writing a letter but to whom? Tell me your thoughts in the comments section💬!!♠️👑♦️👸♣️

Pic 10 *This room was actually a horse stable in my original model a few years ago
The dungeon⛓️ - This is a dark, miserable, and unhygienic prison used to lock up invaders. Not a lot of prisoners manage to escape the terrible conditions and get to see the sun again, but this acts as a severe punishment for their crimes.
Exterior🌳🍂🥀
As you can see, the castle has seen better days as nature🥀🍂and rodents🐀 are taking over! There is a lot of litter all around, such as a glass bottle and helmets!
The Details 📋
- The model is on the 32×32 modular baseplate
- It stands at 23 blocks high
- It includes 3 minifigures - a wandering village person (I don’t know what else to call him😂), a prisoner and a skeleton (if he counts😁)
- and don’t forget the animal - a rat🐀
- This model roughly has around 750 pieces🧩
Thanks!😊

A bit of bonus content🤫😮🫣
My favourite parts of this model have to be the exterior for me. I know that’s quite broad, but the amount of time I put into the outside and nature and just the whole thing was a lot! I would love to know what your fav parts of the model are in the comments!! And, for those people with beady eyes 👀 and Lego books, this model was hugely inspired by the castle in the Lego Ideas book! But, mines better of course😂
I spent (and still spend!) a ton of my time to per-fect this model including the description, photos and build itself. Your support really does mean the world 🌎 to me and I can’t thank you enough for making my dream one step closer🤗.
