Discworld: Troll Bridge

Troll Bridge is a short story by Terry Pratchett set in his "Discworld" series. More can be found on the short story here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_Bridge

The central figure of Troll Bridge is a much beloved character of the Disc, Cohen the Barbarian.  Cohen is the Discworld's greatest warrior hero.  His opponents realized, usually too late, that for a Barbarian to reach such maturity in such hazardous occupation, that me must be very good at it. 

This set in particular is not only inspired by Terry Pratchett's short story, but also by one of the largest undertaking of fandom of all time, the fan created, fan funded, Troll Bridge Short Film by Snowgum Films:
