It was Colonel Mustard, in the library, with the candlestick!
LEGO Clue is a fully playable, faithful recreation of the classic detective game.
My build combines the 1949 board game layout with the aesthetic of the 1985 film adaptation.
• The board features the 9 iconic rooms, stylized as vignettes representative of their appearances in the movie’s secluded Hill House. The rooms include: the Hall, Study, Dining Room, Kitchen, Ballroom, Conservatory, Billiard Room, Library, and Lounge. (And don’t forget the secret passages!)
• Includes 6 weapons: the Rope, Wrench, Candlestick, Lead Pipe, Knife, and Revolver.
• Includes 7 LEGO Minifigures— Wadsworth, the humble butler, and 6 playable dinner guests: Mrs. White, Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Professor Plum.
• For gameplay, each of the 6 characters includes a stand in their corresponding color for navigation of the mysterious New England mansion. While taking a break from detective work, a 7.5 inch Minifigure stand is included for display.
• Additionally, 2 LEGO dice are included, and the final product would include an envelope and rumor deck with suspect, weapon, and room cards to make gameplay possible.
• With about 2500 pieces, LEGO Clue measures 15x15 in (38x38 centimeters) wide and up to 5 inches (12.5 centimeters) tall.
• Bring LEGO Clue to a game night, or recreate your favorite scenes from the movie! This set is a great tabletop game, display piece, and conversation starter.
Clue is very special to me. I grew up loving board games, and the movie is at least an annual rewatch in my household. This build is my magnum opus and my ideal homage to the wonderful film and game.
To make a long story short (too late), enjoy LEGO Clue!
