The Lorax - The Once-Ler's House

The Once-ler's House, built combining references from the iconic book (1971) and subsequent movie adaptation of The Lorax (2012) by Dr. Seuss. The Lorax is a famed fable depicting a young boy who plants the first seed, with help from the Once-ler and his story of the Lorax, after a period of greed has depleted the surrounding area of Truffula trees.

Dr. Seuss' unconventional architecture, eye catching color schemes, and whimsical story telling have intrigued and inspired since his first book in 1937. This build includes details such as fifteen cents, a nail, and the shell of a great-great-great-grandfather snail and the regrowing of Truffula trees as seen at the end of the film adaptation. The aim of this Lego set is to share a slice of Dr. Seuss' engaging world by creating a piece that is enjoyable to build, as well as being playable and suitable for display!
