What is it?
This is a small tabletop carousel designed both for display and play. This brightly colored carousel features four horses and a family of four minifigures. The minifigures can actually ride the horses too! After you complete the build, you can take them for a ride by turning the small wheel at the top of the carousel. The build itself is a perfect cube. It is 6.6 inches long, wide, and tall. It has 728 pieces and sits on a 18x18 footprint.
Why did you build it?
I built it because I have always wanted to build a small working carousel. I know LEGO has made larger carousels already, but I don't remember one of this size that still has a working mechanism to make the horses move. This would be a great set for fans of carousels who don't have much display room.
Why do you believe this would make a great LEGO set?
This would make a great LEGO set because it would be a fun building process (it has a lot of details), it would look good as a display piece, and it has playability. It would appeal to both young and old builders alike.
