When your minifigures get hungry, take them over to the Sonic Drive-In!  Order your food from the menu and have speedy delivery from the carhops on skates.  Enjoy a classic burger, fries, and milkshake from the comfort of your vehicle!

Sonic started out in 1953 under the name Top Hat as a root beer stand.  When the founders, Troy Smith and Charles Pappe, found out the name Top Hat had already been trademarked, they changed the name to Sonic in 1959.  The new name was perfect for the existing slogan, "Service with the Speed of Sound!"

We occasionally get milkshakes from this classic fast food restaurant.  While we were there recently I was looking at the architecture of the establishment and thought it would look fantastic with LEGO bricks, so I took it upon myself to create this masterpiece!  I hope you all enjoy it.

This set contains 1,120 pieces, including the restaurant, truck, and four minifigures!  The restaurant interior is packed with details, including three milkshake machines (with plenty of glasses underneath), a preparation counter (with pots and pans underneath), delivery counter, and a larger griddle on top of two ovens!

Updates:
There have been quite a few things added to the "updates" tab for the project.  The biggest one is the addition of pavilions and a second vehicle.  The total piece count of this updated version is 1,525 pieces.
