Amphibians in LEGO

Hello, everyone, this is my Amphibians in LEGO project!

In this 1260 piece project I’ve made three brick built, near life-size amphibians.

The Tiger Salamander is a striking amphibian known for its bold yellow and dark brown markings reminiscent of a tiger’s stripes, hence the name. These fascinating creatures typically inhabit damp woodlands, grasslands, and marshy areas across North America. With a sturdy body, short and stout legs, and a long tail, tiger salamanders are skilled hunters, preying on insects, worms and small vertebrates. In this project its laying on a bed of olive green moss made with many large and small tree leaf pieces.

The Axolotl is a fascinating amphibian native to Mexico, known for its remarkable regenerative abilities and unique appearance. With its external gills, feathery appearance, and perpetually smiling face, it resembles a mythical creature from a fairy tale. In this project it has an axle through its belly to support it and is in a sort of swimming position.

The Red-Eyed Tree Frog is a vibrant and iconic amphibian native to the rainforests of Central America. It’s eye-catching appearance features a lime green skin with bright red eyes, contrasting against its orange feet and blue sides. These nocturnal creatures spend their days resting on broad leaves, blending seamlessly into the lush foliage, and become active at night, hunting insects with heir long and sticky tongues. In this project the frog is sitting on a leaf above the ground, with a kind of curious position to it.
