"You fight well in the old style. But you have caused me enough trouble. Now you face The Shredder!"
This is a replica of the Shredder's Helmet from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! It is based on the classic movies with a bit of Lego style. The display stand also holds the pauldrons on each side which guard the shoulders. This was challenging build because the helmet has unique elements such as the mask and the tri-crown.
I built this because the Shredder is one of my favorite characters and I love the classic movies which debuted during my childhood. I think it would make a great set to go along with all of the other famous helmets in the Lego collection.
A few notes:
- The mask is connected on each side of the inner helmet; however, the front part of the mask is connected to the stand.
- The back of the helmet is connected as one piece to the top.
- The tri-crown is connected underneath the top of the open visor.
