This is the third part of my Theme Park series,
This is an Observation Tower with a picnic area. You can take the lift up to the top of the Observation Tower to get a grand view of the theme park.
In the picnic area, the park visitors can stop and have a snack and something to drink. If the sun is shining the shade beneath the parasols is welcome. There are two fountains creating a calm atmosphere with the splashing water. And to be sure that no visitor is walking by without buying a drink, there are two big display cans also used as recycle bins.
I have always enjoyed the magic of theme parks and loved the different rides. Now I have combined this pleasure with my passion of LEGO construction in a project.
I have used micro scale to reduce the number of bricks needed, and to have a greater challenge in the designing process. It is fun to build different rides with just a small amount of bricks.
All the sets are constructed on 16x16 base plates which you can snap together to create a large Theme Park. The base plates can easily be parted again and reshuffled to create a new park.
Up until now I have built Bumper Cars, Race Cars, an Octopus ride, a Merry-Go-Round and a Roller Coaster. I'm working on a Viking Ship ride right now and after that is finished I will start working on a Flying Carpet ride. All the designs will be posted here on the community.
