Greetings once again!
Continuing from my last submission in the spirit of my 2023's favourite Lego GWP theme: Houses of the World, comes the next addition.
But this time, It's a mixed-use building; a commercial space on the first floor and a residential space on the second floor (and beyond!).
A vintage-style French Café with antique furnishings.
The design follows the general dimension of the official design and can be split into 3 parts.
Coincidentally, one of the GWP's themes for 2024 happens to be Microscale shops (starting with "Flower shop"; 40680). Where I actually had an idea and started on this project even before the first entry was announced!
Conveniently, my design captures the best of both worlds, having the same spirit that I am sure with look great side by side either of the series!
Building details:
- The exterior includes seating, flowers, signage, a Morris column, an awning, a mailbox, a wooden and brick façade, a mailbox, a rain gutter and more!
- The interior of the first floor is the café area, featuring a dessert counter, seating areas, a fireplace and a gramophone.
- The interior of the second floor is the living area, featuring a set of dining tables, a rug, a closed-top writing table, a cupboard, an old-style iron stove, and a fireplace that shares a chimney with the one on the first floor.
- The attic is the bedroom, with some storage containers.
Basic Technical Information:
- W x L x H: 12 x 10 x 14 studs (not counting slight protrusions)
- Pieces count: 305 pieces
- Stickers/printed pieces: 15 (6 decorative, 9 stickers for the clear panes)
Finally, thank you once again for checking out this design.
If you’d like, please consider supporting this idea, it is very much appreciated.
