Merlin: The Final Encounter

“She is the darkness to your light, the hatred to your love.”
-Kilgharrah, the Great Dragon

BBC’s wonderful show Merlin has run for five thrilling seasons and now the adventure continues in LEGO form! The series Merlin is a reimagining of the classic King Arthur tales, with the sorcerer Merlin as a young man living in Camelot where magic is banned. He must conceal his powerful abilities while protecting the kingdom. Filled with magic, action, and monsters, Merlin would be a perfect addition to LEGO.

This set is loosely based on the episode “The Diamond of the Day.” As Merlin and Arthur struggle to reach the Lake of Avalon, Morgana arrives. With a flick of her hand, she throws Merlin across the forest and prepares to attack Arthur. Armed with the enchanted sword of Excalibur, Merlin is about to face his fiercest battle yet.

This is a small set, but it contains many important elements. First, a forest is useful for any LEGO collection and theme, and the small size of this set would allow buyers to inexpensively gather many trees. Second, this set contains three lead characters from the series in a cost effective manner. Third, this is a very important moment from the series!

Three minifigures are included: the last Dragonlord, Merlin (with Excalibur); the King of Legends, Arthur Pendragon, and the treacherous witch, Morgana.

This set would allow Merlin fans to reenact many key moments of the show in LEGO form, as well as create their own stories in a land of myth. It would also appeal to non-fans, as it includes three fantasy oriented minifigures, and a forest. If you want LEGO Merlin to become a reality, please support and leave a comment if you have the time. Thank you so much for reading!
