Stadium Architecture: Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro)

The Architecture line Lego introduced a few years ago has brought us a nice selection of worldwide known buildings. Bigger sets like the Tower Bridge and Taj Mahal are centerpieces for every Lego collector. These buildings have a history and give the city where they are situated color and fame. Stadiums have the same effect, if it is the Centre Court of Wimbledon or the Madison Square Garden where the Knicks and Rangers play there homegames.

In football one of these iconic stadiums is the Guiseppe Meazza (San Siro) where both AC Milan and Internazionale play there homematches. This stadium is named after the famous Italian footballer who was captain of the Italian squad and became two-time worldchampion in 1934 and 1938. He played for both Internazionale, and briefly for Milan, in the 1930s and 1940s. This stadium has a capacity of 80000 seats and is one of the most famous and well known stadiums in Europe.

This MOC is designed with Lego Digital Designer, is made of approximately 1100 pieces and it stands on a 24x32 baseplate. If you want more information, feel free to ask. For those who support this project, thanks in advance.
