Major update!
Hi everyone!
First of all: thanks for all the support in the past year! It has been a bit quite around this project lately, but that is changing now.
I still love the idea of a Drive-In Cinema set and I thought my project needed a bit of extra love. I decided to make some major changes and hopefully you like the results as much as I do!
Here's a summary of the biggest changes I made:
- A brand new snack bar/kiosk in Googie-architecture style. This iconic style of architecture was popular in California during the 1950's and 1960's and is known for its geometric shapes, bright colors and big signs. The interior includes a fully equiped snack bar, a (dirty) toilet and a storage room.
- A big sign with a custom designed logo and other new decorations.
- The sporty convertible has a new driver: an older gentlemen who might look familiar to fans of the LEGO Adventurers theme (my favorite childhood theme).
- Some changes to the movie screen to fit most smartphones.

1K supporters and a new car!
Hi all! I wanted to thank you for the first 1000 supporter on the project. Simply amazing!
Many people suggested adding a second car to the build, so I started building immediately. The result is this yellow convertible owned by a cool grandma, who's taking her grandkid to the movies. The car seats 3 figures and has 2 reclining seats in the front. Let me know what you think of the car and I'm always open to other suggestions :)

I'm really enjoying reading all the comments and feedback. Several people suggested adding another car, so I couldn't resist... Here's a small teaser. I'll reveal the new car when we reach the 1000-supporters milestone ;)
