This is a model of a cute, english sort of cottage :)
The back has been left open so you can see and play with the fully-furnished interior. There is a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, entry hall, family room, and a bedroom. The circular mirror in the entry hall can be pressed in to activate a lightbrick, which makes the fireplace in the dining room glow.
In addition to the cottage, there is also a small tree with a woodpecker included.
I think it would make a really nice display piece as well as a model that can be played with. The construction is generally pretty easy (mostly studs-up) though a few details use studs-on-side techniques.
The model contains 780 pieces - I wanted to keep the parts count relatively low so it would be accessible to casual lego fans as well as serious collectors.
