Behind the scenes: Designing the camera
Here are a few of the many variations the camera went through on its way to the final version on the right. The third version was used for the Nature Challenge submission of this project, but I felt that the proportions were still slightly off. The part #71752 was the perfect solution for the bellows both to make the camera more compact and proportional, and to allow the texture of the bellows to show from all angles, rather than just the sides.
