The Thunderstrike is the primary vehicle used by the "new" Thundercats in the Tower of Omens. The cockpit opens as it does in the show and the pods detach as well. I would have prefered a different windshield for the pods but had trouble finding them. I built this to go along with my Thundertank. Eventually I plan on building all of the vehicles and maybe even Cats Lair.
The cockpit took forever to work out the opening mechanism, perhaps the designers at Lego know a better way, but I'm happy with it.
