Modern City Roads

Hi, I present you my version of road!

 

This construction consists in a road, with two ways separated by a central reservation, and two bike paths. This construction is made with three 32x32 baseplates, each track is 11 studs wide, and the central reservation is 6 studs wide. There are two crosswalks to allow minifigs to cross safely. On the centrale reservation, there are three trees, one green and two yellow/orange, and lots of yellow and red flowers. The two bike paths link the baseplates of the modulars buildings to the road.

I built it because since the new Lego roads came out, I was worried because these new types of roads couldn’t fit with the modulars, they were higher and difficult to connect with the baseplates. So, I decided to build my own version of road, including bike paths to connect it easily with the baseplates.

I believe it could be a great Lego set because I think a lot of people are in the same situation as I am and don’t have any correct road to link all the modulars of their modular collection, except older versions, which have stopped being sold in 2019.  Another reason why it would be a good Lego set is that the roads realized by LEGO don’t have any central reservation with trees or flowers.
