Behold The Beast! A mix of cyberpunk, steampunk, post-apocalyptic doom racers, and a whole lot of ridiculous. I wanted to create something fictitious and aggressive-looking. With my kids being as enthusiastic about Lego as I am, I made sure to keep it robust and play-worthy...not just for display. Some features include suicide doors, linked rear tracks (each pair rolls in synch), and a front engine cover that pushes forward to expose an overheated engine. The build isn't scaled to minifig size, but I feel it opens up the imagination for many fun scenarios. It was quite a challenge to put together, and I got inspiration from the awesome hotrod MOCs out there. My next project is going to be hooking up The Beast with some power functions, and enjoy how it looks rolling around all over the house!
