The 3 wise monkeys come from Asian culture.
They symbolize the proverbial saying, “See no evil. Hear no evil. Speak no evil”.
Nowadays, they still embody the proverb they originally represented, but there are various meanings ascribed to them.
The moral message remains significant in our modern times, and their depiction is one of the most popular motifs around the world.
For this LEGO version, the 3 monkeys are placed on each of their bases which can be grouped in a circle or separated.
Each monkey has around 750 parts and 2650 for the full set.
