Dragons and Microfighters are some of my favorite LEGO sets. But it wasn't until the release of the Tauntaun Microfighter, and the introduction of the 2022 Ninjago wing pieces that I thought of bringing the two aesthetics together. I added wings to the Tauntaun, changed the colors, swapped the head, and there it was: A cute small dragon! I liked it so much that I decided to build several more, taking steps away from the initial design at each iteration, while still trying to build a cohesive set. All my mini dragons are inspired by existing Ninjago dragons, but also enjoyable as little desk companions by those unfamiliar with the source material.
