Known as the World Tree, the center of Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is the central structure in which all of existence encompasses, it holds the nine realms on each of its branches which in turn holds a collection of unique civilisations, creatures, and environments.
I have created the central world tree and added each of the nine realism to each of its branches, these include Asgard, home to Odin, Thor and the Asgardians, Vanaheim home of the Vanir (a group of Gods), and Alfheim, home of the Light Elves.
Jotunheim, the land of the Giants, Midgard (Earth), home of mankind, and Nidavellir/Svartalfheim, home of the Dwarves.
Niflheim, a realm of cold, ice and darkness, Helheim, the realm of the undead, ruled by Hel, and Muspelheim, home of the Fire Giants and guarded by Surtur.
I have built Odin and Thor with their signature weapons (Gungnir and Mjolnir) who watch over all the nine realms.
I have added a Giant to watch over Jotunheim with an axe ready for battle, as well as included the powerful Fire Giant Surtur with his fire sword Laevateinn, an important weapon used in the battle known as Ragnarok.
The world serpent or Jormungandr can be seen in Midgard and the squirrel who tends to the world tree (Ratatoskr) is attached to the trunk, the immense dragon known as Nidhogg is found at the base of the design gnawing at a root of Yggdrasil.
