What is it?
The Asylum is an old building from bygone times. It was converted into a prison.
Sometimes you can see relics from the old days.
Only serious criminals sit in this prison.
The prisoners are registered in the entrance area. From there it goes to the cells or for interrogation.
The asylum has four cells. One of them has special filters and an extra oxygen supply to separate the prisoner from the environment.
You can blast out the side wall of a cell. Then the escape can start.
The prisoner is caught on the stairs and the trap door is triggered.
In great distress, you can fold out a large spotlight on the roof of one of the towers and throw a help signal into the night sky.
There is a security camera in front of the building and two red emergency lights.
Why did you build it?
First of all I built this for my kids :-)
I wanted to have a prison with special features and a special look. I don’t wanted to have a standard building.
Why do you believe this would make a great LEGO set?
My kids tested the Asylum and they were very happy to play with. And this is the most important thing.
