Watch your little minifigure enjoying his plastic life as he bathes in the sunlight on a little beach...or so he thought!  Suddenly, the ground beneath him begins to sink into the earth below.  As he starts to get sucked down, he realizes he's trapped in an hourglass and getting sucked into the sands of time!  Time is a precious thing; you only have one lifetime, so live every day like it's your last!

The past is behind, learn from it.
The future is ahead, prepare for it.
The present is here, live it!

My parents, particularly my dad, always taught me the importance of time and using it wisely.  I came up with this idea while working on another Lego "time" based project.  The Trapped In Time Hourglass demonstrates--in a funny way--how precious time is and how it can change in an instant.

There are "three" (nearly identical) minifigures and between 600~650 pieces, depending on whether the model has three or four supports.
