What is it:

Why it would make a great LEGO set:

Why I build it:

As a devoted McDonald's fan, I have fond memories of my high school days, where late-night study sessions and early morning rushes were often accompanied by a comforting meal from McDonald's. I am grateful for the joy and convenience it brought to my life during those busy times. However, I also recognize the common perception that McDonald's is merely a purveyor of junk food. This inspired me to create the Green-Designed McDonald's model, showcasing a more sustainable and eco-friendly vision of the brand. By reimagining this iconic fast-food restaurant with a focus on greenery and community spaces, I hope to challenge the stereotypes and highlight the potential for a healthier, more responsible dining experience.

The Design:

This model is not based on any specific McDonald's location but is inspired by the brand's commitment to innovation and sustainability. The building features large glass walls that create an open and airy atmosphere, allowing natural light to flood the interior. The iconic McDonald's logo is prominently displayed, crafted with vibrant bricks that capture attention.

Inside, the ground floor includes an interactive self-service beverage station, where guests can choose from a variety of drinks, enhancing the customer experience. The kitchen showcases detailed areas for food preparation, including an ice cream machine, a dedicated fry station for crispy fries, and a burger preparation area where quality meets efficiency.

For those on the go, a drive-thru ordering and pick-up point is conveniently located, allowing for seamless service to patrons in vehicles. The layout encourages a sense of flow and functionality, which is characteristic of McDonald's' fast-paced environment.

On the second floor, an outdoor terrace offers a unique dining experience, complete with a children's play area featuring a sandbox for creative play and a small, serene pond where families can relax and enjoy their surroundings. This space encourages guests to unwind and embrace nature while enjoying their meals, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and family-friendly design.
