This is the Thousand Sunny from the hit anime One Piece! To the crew of the Sunny, the Straw-hat Pirates, it is the Ship of Dreams with the ambitious goal of sailing around the entire world! The ship itself is the embodiment of freedom, fun, and adventure which I believe perfectly represents the relationship that millions of people have building LEGO.
I fell in love with One Piece as a series and, in hopes of someday being able to see LEGO One Piece become a reality, I dedicated 3 years of my life to making a model of the Thousand Sunny which can be shared with both the amazing One Piece and LEGO communities! Just like the Straw-hat Pirates, I’m going to start an ambitious journey of my own; making the Thousand Sunny an official LEGO set…TO BE CONTINUED.
