Based on my previous submission ("DNA double helix"), this is a representation of a quadruple helix form. There are 30 levels in the tower which allows exactly one full revolution of the four helixes.
I rebuilt this model using the Bricklink Studio - using transparent blue round bricks. The quad helix is a unique design which no-one has done before in Lego.
This would make a great Lego model because: its fun and challenging to assemble; its very satisfying to complete this build; the quad helix is a much more rigid design (compared to the double helix); its a very attractive form and makes a great decorative piece; it would look great on a rotating or illuminated base; its perfect for anyone interested in helixes or the structure of DNA; the pieces can be packaged into a small box.
