Calvin and Hobbes: Spaceman Spiff

When it comes to imagination, no one beats Calvin!  One of the things I love from the Calvin and Hobbes comics is how Bill Watterson captures a child's imagination through Calvin's various adventures!  I chose to re-create Calvin's hero--Spaceman Spiff--because there are some pretty hilarious scenes he created in his head, particularly those in school. 

I remember when I was younger, I'd pretend that my mechanical pencil was a spaceship.  I'd load the lead into it, imagining it was either some precious cargo or part of it's arsenal.

I originally started creating this for the Out of this World Space Builds contest, but realized they don't allow third party IPs, so I decided to just open it up as a new project.
