Released in 1986, Laputa: Castle in the Sky (original title: 天空の城ラピュタ), is a Japanese animated steampunk fantasy-adventure film written and directed by the legendary Hayao Miyazaki, and it is also the first film animated by Studio Ghibli.
This LEGO display piece features not only the iconic laputan robot from the movie, but also a flowery base and a brick-built Fox Squirrel, a small critter that appears both in Laputa: Castle in the Sky and in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.
