This idea depicts an illuminated manuscript from the middle-ages.
The book is opened on a slanted base.
The left page displays an ornated "L" letter with floral patterns and a minstrel.
The right page displays the rest of the text in gothic letters, with a floral abstract border and an icon of a lady with a rose.
The text reads "Lego ergo sum" which translates into "I read therefore I am" and also cleverly hides the word "Lego".
3 bookmarks can be seen marking other pages in the book, and the current page is marked with a red one.
This model was a lot of fun to design. I used several SNOT techniques to achieve the desired look, and I'm very happy with the result, especially the color combination I managed to get.
