Dragon Ball Z - Hyperbolic Time Chamber

Inspiration / IDEA concept:

Some of my fondest childhood memories are playing with Lego system and attempting to recreate my favourite Dragon Ball Z battles. So, I was ecstatic to learn Lego now accepts submissions for the DragonballZ brand.

Arguably the most recognisable location featured throughout the entire Dragon Ball Z franchise is Kami’s Room of Spirit & Time, a.k.a the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. This mysterious room is a literal portal to an alternate realm, where space-time operates at an accelerated pace to the outside world. Those who enter experience a whole year’s worth of training in just a single day. Allowing Goku and friends to quickly sharpen their skills and increase power levels. The greatest use of the room sees a newly fused Gotenks goad Buu into a battle within the chamber. When a quick thinking Piccolo destroys the entrance, they seemingly find themselves trapped together for all eternity.

I set out to build an impressive eye-catching building, which accurately captures the unique architecture of this iconic DragonballZ location - relative to a standard Lego minifigure.

Design Features / Functions:

The set features multiple jumper plates and countless trans-clear pieces to enable exact positioning of all minifigures. Allowing fans the freedom to recreate all their favourite scenes.

Also included are additional bricks to customise The Time Chamber itself. Able to be built in pristine condition or alternately displayed battle-damaged. Allowing for dynamic play and endless display options.

Total Piece Count: 946

Requisite construction techniques are sure to make for a challenging, yet highly rewarding, building experience. Guaranteed to engage and entertain intermediate and advanced builders alike.
