Deformed cartoon-like animals in LEGO have appeared in the New Year's Gift with purchase models, e.g. 40355 Year of the Rat, but I think it's good to have realistic sculpted animals as well. This model is one of my realistically sculpted animals as such. As a rat-like gesture, I tried to reproduce the appearance of eating something with a rounded body as close as possible to actual size. I used ball joints (# 22484 and # 14418). The neck and left and right forefoot (arms) can be turned to some extent freely, up, down, left and right. I also used #10187 Claws to recreate the front legs and #4276 Hinge Plate 1 x 2 with 2 Fingers to recreate the back legs. Furthermore, Modified 2 x 3 Pentagonal tile looks like the lower teeth of a rat.
