I made this artwork in LEGO form to recognise one of my favourite modern art movements known as De Stijl, led by artist Piet Mondrian.
This work which I have recreated through LEGO is Mondrian's 1930 painting called Composition II in Red, Blue and Yellow. This work I think perfectly resembles the early makings of the De Stijl movement, which was both simplistic and minimalist, yet very effective through the artist's focus on primary colours combined with black verticals and horizontals.
Dimensions are 16 x 21 cm, making it an easy fitting ornament for any room.
