Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
And with strange aeons even death may die.”
― H.P. Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu and Other Weird Stories
Cthulhu is the chocolate of Popular Culture. Adding some makes everything better.
The Cults of the Old Ones demand constructible plastic idols of Eldritch Blasphemies that they can build themselves. And if the stars are right, and the supporters go mad, LEGO will make it happen.
“Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn."
These are just ideas, of course. Models could range from System-style Cthulhu like at the top, more detailed busts as in the center, or action-figure-type Deep Ones as above. The world of Lovecraft is rich with potential!
I welcome any and all suggestions. And what's shown here needn't be any official set. I'm asking for support of the concept at this point. I've seen many good Lovecraftian MOCs in the past, better than what I've made, and I hope the creators and fans of those projects find this idea and join the Lovecraft Lego Collective.
Growing from this general idea, I've developed Miskatonic Valley, the game. Search for it here on CUUSOO, and support it as well!
