Market Street

In the center of the city is the old Market Street. It is a historic place where mini-figs gather for their daily shopping. The ground floor is an open market with the towns grocery-, baker-, butcher- and flower-shop. On the first floor, Ben the architect has his office. Next to him lives Jane, who is a bit of a computer geek.

In the morning Ben loves to drop by Cynthia in the coffee corner. To get a cappuccino and to hear the latest town gossip. She is always there to provide the favorite drinks to all the towns mini-figs...

The building is equipped with a lift that can be operated by turning the wheel at the back. The lift goes up and down via the wormwheel in the lift shaft.
The glass ceiling provides light to the market interior. All floors separate from each other to give access to the shops and offices. I build the set in real bricks as well to test the building techniques and to make sure it is stable. Especially the round tower has a few building challenges that make it a fun to assemble!

I hope you like the set as an addition to the existing modular series!
