Dear Lego Ideas Supporters,

I regret to inform you that the Lego Ideas submission you’re reviewing is extremely unpleasant. It recreates an unhappy scenario about three very unlucky children.

The Story
Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire have just moved in with their new guardian, Count Olaf. He’s a vile and deeply untalented actor who’s only desire is to steal the massive inheritance that Violet Baudelaire is set to inherit from her late parents.

The Build
This building kit allows you to recreate Count Olaf’s terrible mansion. Built in a gothic Victorian style, this mansion looms with a foreboding presence. Scattered throughout the build you can find eye symbols on doors, windows and other items.

The Exterior
The exterior of the mansion is paneled in mismatched planks, giving a disheveled appearance to the building. Roofs are lined with wrought iron. The front yard is decorated with trash.

The Interior
There are 8 rooms included in this build.

The First Floor
The entryway, the stairs are removable so that you can add in the piano for impromptu musical introductions. The 'reading room', a room stuffed full of trash and no books whatsoever. The dining room, complete with raspberry cupcake. Mini builds include a partial stairway, a piano, the decoder spyglass, couch, dinning room table and chairs and one large throne.

The Second Floor
The balcony, perfect for announcing oneself. The Baudelaire's bedroom, complete with complimentary pile of rocks. Count Olaf's costume room, full of disguise elements for evil plots. Mini builds include Count Olaf's desk and mirror and the Baudelaire's single bed.

The Third Floor
A mysterious junk room. It is this room where you can find items perfect for creating inventions to help the Baudelaire's out of their predicament as well as a secret book. Mini builds include the 'Incomplete History of Secret Societies' book, a pasta maker and a typewriter.

The Tower
The room where Count Olaf keeps people captive. Mini builds include a desk, and a birdcage that can be attached to the pole outside the window.

All together, this makes for a series of unfortunate builds that will only bring despair and misery to wherever you display it.

Voting for this set is sure to cause misery and woe to Lego builders across the world, but it might help finally reveal the plight of the Baudelaire’s to the public and end their tragic plight.

With all due respect,

-Strangely
