The vampire squid (Vampyroteuthis infernalis) is a well- known deep sea cephalopod named for the cape- like webbing between its arms. It is about a foot long, with oversized fins and huge blue eyes.
This set shows 1 squid, with posable fins and a display plate. When the aforementioned plate is removed, the squid can stand upright on its webbing. There are many accurate details in this set, such as the fleshs "spikes" on the inside of the webbing, and the coloring on the mantle. I think this would make a great set for those reasons, although I built it just for fun.
