The Mona Lisa is one of the most famous paintings ever, and by the artist Leonardo Da Vinci. It was painted during the Italian renaissance, and to this day the person the painting was of is a mystery. One of the reasons the painting is so famous is because of a early 1900s theft and recovery due to Italian patriotism. The painting is currently located in the Louvre museum in Paris, France, and has been their since the late 1700s.
This version is made of 2,814 total pieces, and is a 1 to 1.3 scale to the original Mona Lisa. It is made of mainly tiles that make up the painting, and gray plates that make up the back of it. It measures 15 inches by 23 inches which is close to the paintings 21 by 30 inches.
